At Citizens Advice South Derbyshire we can give initial advice
on many aspects of immigration such as: visitor visas, fiance(e)/spouse
visas, student visas, settlement visas, work permits, immigration status,
welfare benefits, asylum seekers and refugees.
For more complex cases it may be necessary for us to arrange a referal
to a specialist agency.

Asylum Aid is a charity which provides free legal advice and representation
to refugees and asylum-seekers seeking safety in the UK from persecution.
They also campaign for the fair treatment of refugees in the UK.
- Electronic Immigration
A voluntary sector organisation specialising in the provision of information
on immigration and refugee law via the Internet, particularly in the United
Kingdom and Europe.
- Immigration Law Practitioners'
ILPA has more than 1,100 members including lawyers, advice workers, academics
and law students. ILPA is regularly consulted by the Government on key
issues relating to immigration, refugee and nationality law.
